About The Founder
Benny Locklear, Jr. is a native North Carolinian and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. He has worked with both adults and children in the mental health field for over 8 years. While embarking on his career, Mr. Locklear saw the need to deliver resourceful information to people of all cultures in his community.
Mr. Locklear holds many academic credentials. In 2005 he received an MSW from the University of South Carolina; a Bachelors of Social Work in 2004 from the University of North Carolina in Pembroke, NC; and an Associates of Arts in 2002 from Sandhills Community College in Pinehurst, NC.
Mr. Locklear has developed behavioral modification programs for children who have difficulty performing in a classroom setting. He has identified opportunities and implemented programs to engage underprivileged children in diverse educational experiences beyond the classroom. He has assisted in strategically planning and developing programming strategies designed to influence and to help improve the quality of life children and families in targeted communities.
